Yeah, I wouldn't blame you for being scared. I think Guild are owned by Fender.

Ha ha.
Yes, they are now Fender.

It was a good guitar, but I don't miss it too much. Even that student level Guild was twice as much as my present Ibanez Jazzer, and no better as a guitar.
It was hard to keep tuned too. Very temperature sensitive.

This is a great site, BTW.
