bridge type question

im getting ready to get a second guitar , my first being a squire strat , modified with a dimarzio in the neck and a mighty mite humbucker in the bridge. i like it , but i cant get really good with alternate picking with palm muting . ive owned a epiphone g-400 befor and it seemed easyer than the strat . my question brings in a string thru body no tremblo . im curious how different it feels compared to a standard sg bridge type. mayby i need to go play one first but i just thought id ask here first.

You are definately looking at different feeling bridges here. I like both myself
but I have been playing for many years with both types so it is no big deal for me. I would suggest trying a few out to see what works best for you.
