| I'm up at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a decent frat up here or just one they would recommend in general. I visited one and wasn't really impressed. |

Don't you have to eat bugs and drink a barrel of beer in a rainstorm to get into a frat? It's hard for me to see the advantages of membership... |

I guess I'm just naive, but I just want to be involved in a Christian organization. Frats throw that phrase out, but the atmosphere kinda threw me off. Putting triplesec in a girl's drinks isn't something I'd want any part in. |

My point exactly Jeff. Putting anything in anyone's drink or food is just flat out wrong as are most of the other things required to pledge.
The problem seems to be... secular organizations despise christian influence, and alot of christian organizations seem to despise fun. God wants us to have a blast in life while letting our conduct be a window through which others view Him. In my opinion we need to walk in the light while not appearing as a stick in the mud. We are not to isolate ourselves because that doesn't take the Gospel to others. It takes alot of prayer and alot of thought. |

| I really want to be involved in a Christian organization that is worth something, but I haven't found or heard anything about something like that. Last night, I asked the guy trying to get me to pledge about the Christian aspects of a fraternity and he said they had a chaplin etc etc but I don't see any Christian foundation to any fraternity. |
