One of my co-workers in in the Army Reserves and will probably get called up this weekend to head to the Middle East. Please take a few moments to pray with me for peace, for safety of our troops, and for a world where Christians, Muslims, and Jews can learn to live together in mutual respect.

Agreed. Lord, please allow us to avoid war and live in peace. Please grant safety to all of our service men and women and give wisdom to our leaders. Please keep us safely in your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

I'm just wondering why this doesn't make sense to me. I believe having a relationship with Jesus Christ makes you a 'son of God', but you state here people who are muslim are "childern of GOD"? It seems impossible to me for someone to be an unbeliever but yet still be a child of God. Could someone explain this to me? Thanks and God Bless,

Bonnie

Personally I believe we are all God's children. Some (many) are lost. Muslims are NOT Christians therefore they are not saved unless they accept Christ as their saviour (harsh reality). Still we love them and pray they will see the light. It is God's will that none should perish and all come to salvation, but some (many) won't.

Absolutly AC. God loves all his children (people on earth). It is unfortunate that some stray into other ways of life. If only they all knew how much blessing God can bring, and that a simple matter of opening up your heart and letting Jesus into your life can change you forever. Change you for the better!

God loves us all!

Praise the Lord!

Rom 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Pray for our troops saftey and for those that are leading them and our country. Perhaps God is using this to reach the lost in the Middle East. The muslim laws that are inplace in many of those country's make it very hard for the Lord's Church to work there. Pray for those "front line" Christians.

Im from Australia and we also have troops out there in the middle east. And much like you markm2553 praying for your troops and your country, which i also do Smile pray for the Aussie troops too. Americans and Australians, Canadians and others are out there fighting for us right now. Poor dudes!! God Bless them all!!
Thats right mark, the Christians on the ''front line'' are worrying about their lives, while we sit here worrying about guitars. we pray that God is always in their hearts, giving them comfort and peace, in their hard situations.

Thankyou Lord for these brave men and women!

I was lucky enough to hear a Marine Chapline speak a few weeks ago. He was front line in Iraq with the troops, no weapon! Some of the stories he told, now that's putting your life on the line for God. He had spent almost the last two years away from his family.
I'm glad you brought that to my attention, I should be praying for all the troops.

God Bless us everyone.

Wow, being a Marine Chapline on the "front line" must be hard work. Faced with so many difficult desicions, topics and situations. Those stories would indeed be interesting.
Especially being away from his family for 2 years. That would be hard for anyone to do! Takes alot of courage and a strong heart to survive out there. God bless them!
