Did you hear the new AMT pedals?

Hi.
I try to make a choice between two stomp boxes Boss SD1 and AMT Fataltube. Is there someone who heard the AMT pedals or not?

They sound pretty good. But I've never heard of the brand. But I don't use effects very often, if at all. But they sound really good.

If your deciding what to buy. I guess the only way to decide would be to plug them both into the same amp and guitar, and then listen to each of them very carefully. Then buy the one you like the most.

Hi Whisky, the Love of Jesus be with and in You and welcome to the board! You seem to like AMT very much. Are you connected with the company?

I can be fairly ignorant on this because when I want OD or distortion I use my (Boogie MK II or Rivera) amps. Also when I think of Ozzy Ozbourne, Van Halen I think distortion not OD (but I'm an old guy).

That said the SD1 and fatal overdrive are clearly 2 different sounds; They both sound good for their respective sounds. The Boss costs $40 has a 5 yr warranty through any reseller with various return policies, the AMT costs $120 factory direct and appears to have a 30 day return policy and no extended warranty mentioned. I think a better comparison would be the Boss MT2 at $86.

I must admit the Platinum Tube OD sounds very good but pricey and no mention of warranty.
