I went to the International Broadcast Convention today (IBC). All the por-audio/broadcast/post-production/video etc etc etc came together.
Amazing the contacts yu get walking around there. What a wonderfull stuff they make. We saw a complete new way to do our active splitting on stage, we saw the latest on line-array speakers. how about 145db @1m !!! Full hifi. wowsers. And then the makers of this system ask us to talk with them on doing a international dealership thing. We, dealers ???? d is good....
How about a studio mixer running on Linux. One complete PC per 8 chnls. One PC for the master section..... I grew up with SSL and NEVE desks, tube desks were the future back then....
I know, I have lost most of you but I had to tell some one and I had to keep this thread from beeing closed by admin..... hehehehe |
