I think Muddy Waters said it best, "the Blues had a baby, and they named it Rock and Roll".

And while you're at it, remember the "Catholic Music" thing on the opening page when you move the cursor over the red guitar? Just a friendly reminder, your Grand and Glorious Plurality Sir(s?) (Cybermonsters (Most Beloved Admin)).

What is "Catholic Music"?
This is the second time I have heard this referred to.
Am I missing something? |

Good question Buckwheat. I don't know what it is either but if you go to the home page for this site and move your mouse cursor over the red guitar you'll see what I mean.

Kinda bizzare... Is there such a thing as contemporary music geared only toward the Catholic faith? I know there IS such a thing as Mormon music though....

Being a Catholic, I feel qualified to answer. This, however has nothing to do with the banner in the front page (Which should be gone by now).
Catholic music is music that is specificaly written for the mass. Certain liturgical rites, certain parts of the Sunday liturgy are sung.

Thanks CT! I remember once you told me you played your electric at church and I was a bit surprised. Is contemporary praise/worship music becoming more commonplace in the Catholic church?

Yes, but only at the youth mass. The old farts still like their folk type music and the good old B3 organ stuff.
