You know, I have this great Christian friend from my Air Force days, that I was just emailing this week to come onto this board, and he is the BIGGEST Rush fan of all time.

He is quite a decent guitarist as well.

I guess I had better prod him again...it's his time to shine.

Just give me a few moments to grab his attention.

Did someone say, Rush???

I would be the individual that matdvd spoke of. Secular or not, Rush is outstanding nonetheless. Definitely one of the most underrated bands of our time.

For those of you who may be Rush fans, there is a Rush site that I frequent: www.r-u-s-h.com/trinet. At the site, there is a link to most if not all Rush tabs. Here is the link:

Happy playing!

Hey Matt,

You don't have to call me matdvd, they all know who I am. A little too much if ya ask me.

Hey everyone, this is one of my best friends in the world, also named Matt. He's in PA now, and the only thing I can find wrong with him is he is still insisting Rush was more than just a high school band...hehehe

Hopefully his busy college schedule will allow him to stop by now and again.

Thanks for showing up! I was just practicing some chord changes...still so much basic stuff I need to know....and thought I'd drop in.

Okay Mateo, you are off the hook...I won't post your picture that I threatened too.

See ya pal. I'll be around quite frequently....

That thought you left us with is too deep for me. Gotta think about that one for awhile.

Come on Cygnus,

That movie is about your family, huh?? hehehe

I thought for sure that the High School band thing would rattle ya. I hate it when a "dog" goes silent... <crickets heard in background>

Sorry pal, gotta go. Gotta root against your Steelers. No offense. Hey, that was punny.

Thanks for the words Harry!

ps. oh yeah, the deep thing is the mirror saying at the bottom...

Thanks JamesRon

What thought left you in deep thought Matt?

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, go see the Mothman Prophecies. The town that is supposed to be Point Pleasant, WV is actually Kittanning, Pa, which is about 3 miles south of my home. I suppose the people who made the movie wanted to shoot in Kittanning for the bridge scene. Anyway, I realize that this is a Christian GUITAR site, but there's something about this movie that just REALLY gives me the creeps! The movie is "supposed" to be based on strange but true events during the 1960's in WV. Demonic or otherwise, there's some things in this world you just can't explain. But, it sure makes for one creepy roller coaster of a movie!

Happy pickin'!
