I have a question for you, Harry. What are you using on your thumb, if anything?
I've played fingerstyle for about 24 years, but I MUST have a thumbpick, and a certain one, at that. I use the Herco brand thumbpick, which the pick part is shaped just like the Fender thins I use. I find it works best for me. My oldest brother likes to use little bitty thumbpicks that are almost like wires. Whichever; it depends on what is comfortable for you. You may have to try several. Use a thumbpick, especially if you have shorter thumbs, like I do.

| Try playing some classical music on the classical guitar!!! That's what I've been doing lately. All the wierd ways i had to pluck the strings makes me feel like I'm re-learning to play all over again. |
