Hi there crystal. nice to meet you.
I have one very reliable website to find tabs i needed and good news they just improved their pages, looks very nice now, here you go:
www.christianguitar.org
just go through the artist list. I don't go there often now since i always try to tab songs myself, consider as drill for my ears and it really helps me to be a better musician. I go to the site if i feel there's something missing in the tab or for urgent matters.
this forum is great if you're really looking for people who just love music because of GOD. God Bless You |

| Thanks for the info. Curious though how hard is it to tab the songs yourself |

First off, welcome to the forum Crystal!
Hope you find a reason to stay awhile.
I have not heard of the artist you mention, that doesn't mean much, I don't know many blues artists.
I did a quick search at E-chords and couldn't find anything.
Are they local bands to your area? They could very well be national best sellers and I would not have heard of them, sorry.
Here is the chord site I find most helpful:
http://www.e-chords.com/default.asp
You may want to google the name of the band or their song followed by the word chords; like this:
"Darrell Mansfield" chords
And see what you come up with. As far as tabbing your own, give it a try, it takes a good ear and a lot of practice. Some people use a machine to slow down the song to help catch the notes. |

Remember, blues isn't so much a description of songs, it's a description of a way of playing songs. Most songs with a simple chord structure can be played in a blues mode. With the right instrumental tone and adjusted tempo, most songs will sound like blues.
And, the converse is also true. Almost any blues song can be performed in such a way that the bluishness (is that a word?) of the song can be squeezed out. |
