Good morning, guys! It's been quite a while since I went to my 10 hour Veteran's Administration Hospital wandering minstrel gig, and although it's 33F with a thick frost, I am determined to be dropped of today by my beloved. It should warm up pretty good to about 60 by 11AM. A series of circumstances have really hindered my ministry done there, but I am back on track now, praise the Lord! Changing anti-seizure meds the first of December made me very dizzy and the Neurologist advised against menavigating stairs for a couple weeks and then both Christmas and New Year's Day were on Tuesdays and I had a Neurologist's appt. last week on Tuesday, but this week I am there with bells on and without doubt, called according to His purpose.
I am about to cut out CD covers and liner notes for 6 of each of my CD projects. ("Dan Brown and Friends" and "Dan And Sheila/Great is Thy Faithfulness") May the Holy Spirit guide me to who could use them the most, and who would be most lifted up and encouraged by a gift of one of them. May my voice be sweetened and my old Guild ring and may not one bit of pride enter this broken mind today and may every ear hearing have absolutely no doubt to Whom and for why I sing.
I hope all of your days are as blessed as mine will be!
Blessed, so immeasureably blessed, by a place and a reason to sing, Dan |

always lights my heart to try harder to be more like Jesus in this world....I'll try harder and push myself more to reach people like you do!
Lots of thanks for setting up an example Mr.Dan. May the Lord bless you and your beloved |

Thanks, guys! Your thoughts and prayers were mighty powerful stuff, as my day of singing yesterday was one of those that's rare, where a day so seems planned by Someone so much wiser and full of majesty than me. Guitarists were coming out of the woodwork, my voice seemed fine tuned. One little 7 yr old girl asked if I knew "Jesus Loves the Little Children" and after finding her key, she nailed it for a big bunch of us and there were galore tears and warmed hearts all over.
Although it never really warmed up enough for my satisfaction, I found several places inside where I could use my "near Muzak" mode when it was too cold. All in all I was very blessed and reminded, with honor, why I do it. If they would let me drive, I would be dangerous! (literally!)
Blessed, so undeservedly blessed, Dan |

Nothing like a child's song from the heart.
May you continue to feel God's blessing in your ministry. |

Wow J, sounds like it's really going well except for the medication part. Good to hear the work is going well and that obviously nothing is slowing you down. |
