Hey brother, it's Sister Rosetta Tharpe. And she was a heck of a guitar player. From what i know about Son House he went back and forth preaching and playing the "devil's music"...sorta like Little Richard.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I saw this thread and thought I'd mention someone that is pretty much under the radar. His name is Will McFarlane. He used to play guitar for Bonnie Raitt. He is a Christian musician. I only have one of his CD's, it is titled "Axe to the Root". If you visit his web site you can listen to some of his music. One of my favorites is "Back in the Circle".
