Hey Ya'll
I'm a student missionary as a worship leader at a fairly new church, we have a good set up for music... 10 Mackie 450s, 2 JBL subs, and other toys to boot. Anyways, our main sound guy doesn't like stage noise, and with the acoustics in the gym we're meeting in, I agree. I was looking at different amps, but now I've been leaning toward just buying a modeler pedal (I really can't remember the technical term, but you get my drift) and running my electric through that.
So, my question is this; what do you recommend? I've been looking at the Vox Tonelab, but it would be really cool if i didn't have to spend $350 for it. Being a college student taking a year out to be a missionary doesn't provide the greatest budget. I would like to find a nice pedal that i would be able to set up my presets the week before, and then have my own settings for each song during the service. Anyways, if anybody has any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks.

God Bless

Sam

Welcome to the board. I hope you are enjoying the time your are spending in serving the Lord.

I don't think I can be much help to you, as I don't really use effects myself, and the fact that I am on the other side of the globe doesn't help much either. About the only direction I can point you in to help you find something would be this website.

Maybe you can find a nice one or there. Good luck.
