This guitar is on my wish list, but I dunno if I'll ever get it. Anyone here have any opinion on it (esp. if you own it)?
Thanks and God bless,

It looks and sounds good. But I personally won't go for one. The point of playing an acoustic (for me anyway), is that you don't need an amp. You just pick it up and play. You only get the real benefit of the variax by being plugged in.
Besides, they haven't even got an Australian guitar modelled. Talk about being slack. |

Despite not having an Aussie model inside, does it sound decent though, unplugged? I mean just for sitting around and strumming/practicing? I don't need a lot of volume when I'm practicing or even songwriting...but the Variax seems like it'd be great if/when I decide to record an acoustic song (rather than use my keyboard).
Thanks and God bless!

| I dont think it will give any usable volume unplugged. Recording-wise it looks great. Ik think if you have the use for it, it is a great guitar. If you are a acc. freak it wil disapoint you. That beeing said, i have no experience with the guitar and base this on reviews and other user tales... |
