Bought a used half stack last night; a Peavey Supreme 160 and matching 412MS cab. This thing sounds awesome! The lead channel is very versatile and the clean is nice and clear. I bought it because I've been doing more outdoor things this year and looking to do even more next year, including starting a Christian band with some of the guys from the worship team, music similar to Day of Fire.
My Peavey 212 EFX is currently in the shop after only being 2 1/2 yrs. old. First time ever I've had to have a Peavey amp fixed...at least, it's still under warranty.
I'll let you guys know more of how I like the amp as time goes on. The worship team is scheduled to play on a float in the hometown parade in Sept. That'll be a good debut for the amp.

| Good luck with the new amp, and good luck with the band! Sounds like big things are in the works. |

| I'm envious. Wear loose pants so that when you turn up they'll flap in the breeze. |

This weekend was the parade and the amp was awesome. The other guys had their amps close to max, but the Supreme 160 was set on 5 and was still blowing them away. I love this amp!
The float did so well. It was awesome to see people responding to our praise and worship like they did. In a town of mostly traditional churches, I was a little concerned how received that our edgy, contemporary music would go over. But God was good and His message was well received! |
