Bought a used half stack last night; a Peavey Supreme 160 and matching 412MS cab. This thing sounds awesome! The lead channel is very versatile and the clean is nice and clear. I bought it because I've been doing more outdoor things this year and looking to do even more next year, including starting a Christian band with some of the guys from the worship team, music similar to Day of Fire.

My Peavey 212 EFX is currently in the shop after only being 2 1/2 yrs. old. First time ever I've had to have a Peavey amp fixed...at least, it's still under warranty.

I'll let you guys know more of how I like the amp as time goes on. The worship team is scheduled to play on a float in the hometown parade in Sept. That'll be a good debut for the amp.

Good luck with the new amp, and good luck with the band! Sounds like big things are in the works.

I'm envious. Wear loose pants so that when you turn up they'll flap in the breeze.

This weekend was the parade and the amp was awesome. The other guys had their amps close to max, but the Supreme 160 was set on 5 and was still blowing them away. I love this amp!

The float did so well. It was awesome to see people responding to our praise and worship like they did. In a town of mostly traditional churches, I was a little concerned how received that our edgy, contemporary music would go over. But God was good and His message was well received!
