That was the start for me.
There are still a lot of mysteries I don't get, but once you are a confessing believer, you are a part of the body of Christ, Herb!
I remember when I didn't really believe, but I WANTED to believe. Maybe I even only wanted to WANT to, y'know?
But that was that lil'ol' mustard seed of Faith, that the Lord gives anyway, that led me to ACCEPT the promises of God.
God is, whether or not I accept. When I surrender and say "God's will be done, moreso than mine," then I have turned over my life to the Living God who still exists in Spirit, who once walked among us as Jeusu Christ, in human form.
Find a Christian church, Brother Herb. You are a part of the body.
May God bless you and lead you and yours.
He loves us, and has eliminated punishment for us. That's what the Gospel, The Good News, is all about.
No more punishment. Jesus paid our account.
When we accept Jesus as our Saviour and trust God that it is so, it IS SO!
Our belief is counted as righteousness. What a concept.
What a trade.
