Just wanted to let people know how impressed I am with this board. Just finished reading "practice..." in the woodshed and your support and love for a brother is inspiring. I hope and pray that I could be of some use to someone here. scott |

I really like it here too. I try to stop by every day, it is a time I look forward to. There are alot of other "places" out there where our world view is not very excepted. It's really great to come someplace where Jesus is not a "four letter word".
Good to have you. |

I am reminded of the story of Elisha (or was it Elijah?) when the prophet thought he stood alone against the world and the woshippers or Baal.
We are not alone, but we are in the minority, I am happy that the members of this board have found their way through the narrow gate.
One of the benefits of at least tossing the name Jesus out there from time to time, is that "closet christians" might see it and become a little more bold in knowing they are not alone either and perhaps it will give them strength to speak up and also to seek out places like this. There are a few other websites for christian guitar players, in fact a guy from one told me he felt that this one was not "christian enough". |

| It's Elijah, brother Lance. First Kings 19. I remember because I wrote a song about it called "Still Small Voice". The part of the story I wonder about is why was Elijah afraid of Jezebel when he just faced down 100 prophets of Baal in front of a crowd? Wouldn't calling down fire from Heaven enbolden a man? But perhaps he was just exhausted...moot point anyway. |

The right woman is just enough, the wrong one, is one too many.
But my wife says that works with men too? Go figure... |
