Welcome to all newcomers!
Mindy I think that is great you are looking to praise Jesus in what you do. I have a 15 year old daughter and although she is saved (praise God!) I do pray she will become more involved with church and ministry. |

well brother,
keep the faith and pray for your daughter, dont try to force anything on her as this may sour her to church and to God and the lord said that no man cometh unto him unless the spirit draw them...stand strong and live the life, i'll pray for you both

God Bless,

| ABSOLUTELY !! Growing up here in W.Va., that's all we had. Buegrass, Hymns, and Southern Gospel. I know several men in quartets, both local, and nationally known, and the harmony they achieve is dynamic !!! Beautiful music listen to when you're looking for a touch from God. Unfortunately, like all other types of "Gospel " music, it's been invaded by the world trying to make a buck. I recommend Down East, Gold City, Cathedrals..to name a few. |

I know the post is a little on the old side but this sounds like a verse does anyone know where to find it? I tried biblegateway and a couple searches with no luck. Thanks in advance. |

I tried the entire New Testament and Psalms. It's not there. I thought perhaps it was hard to find because it sound like a King James translation, so I did a search on just the phrase "The Spirit" in the entire New Revised Standard Version. There was nothing even remotely close.
It's theologically sound even if it didn't come from the Bible, so I think it might be a line from a hymn. |
