Thanks,

Any of about 1,000,000 sings in the key of G should be just fine Mark

Try:
Lord I Lift Your Name On High
I Wanna See Jesus Lifted High
Create In Me A Clean Heart
As We Gather
As The Deer

Try here, a great archive - http://www.columbia.edu/cu/ivcf/ugrad/praiseSongs/

Another - http://www.christianguitar.ws/christian/

Many songs can be adapted to 3 or 4 chord songs in the key of G or A which makes them generally easy to sing as well. Either key will get you by 80% of the time without too many difficult open chords (B's and F's for most people). G,C,D, and Em will go a long way!

Ok, I do one of those now. I will look at some of the others. Here is a problem I am having. I think there should be a simple answer, but I don't know what cords are in what key. I mean I can't find a chart that tells me when a song is in G and I want to switch it to A, what chord matches up with what chord in the other key. See my problem? I have done a couple of VERY simple changes, but it was because I already knew most of the song in two keys. Can you direct me to what I need to know? Thanks.

God is cool

Here is a link to a tranposition program. Just highlight & copy the tab from whereever; paste it on this site and tell it what key you want it in. Push the button and it does all the work for you.

I like to copy & paste the result into a word document and print it out for use.

I haven't gone to any of the links posted here, so I hope I'm not giving you the same thing again. Just remember if you are going up one key, all the chords go up one whole step (two half steps). For instance, if you're transposing a song from G to A, and you come across a D, it goes up to E, if you come across a Bb7, it becomes C7, and so forth. If you have a keyboard in front of you it makes it much easier. Hope this helps. Have fun!

I went to that first website you gave and i was really wanting to play this one song (days of elijah). I was wondering if you had the words and chords.
