| For those who want to play some really great Christian rock music, Third Day has some awesome songs that can be played by anybody who knows a few chords. Most of their songs have only 3 or 4 chords and the changes are fairly slow but the songs really sound cool and honor God big time. Go here for the tabs. I suggest "Angus Dei" and "My hope is you" for starters. Two VERY cool songs with only 3 EZ chords! http://www.1christian.net/guitar/default.asp?tab/t/third_day |

Heehehe
The songs I mentioned might be a bit easy for you Harry, I use them when teaching guys just starting out but they know some chords. At that point I think everybody would rather practice playing a song as well as the tedious lesson stuff to keep it more interesting. |

| Listen to the song "My hope is you" (the live version is best!) I just play it using C and F except when it says "guide me in truth" and that's an A minor. The solos are in a minor as well. Fun song to get friends jammin with. |

OK, I just got it, it appears to be the Live Version, hence the clapping. It is another good one.
I just jammed all the way through with my acoustic, it was fun. Now I am gonna do it with my Artstar and see what it sounds like.

| The guitar is a Jackson USA Custom Shop PC2. It was made in 1997 as a special run for the Guitar Center. The PC1 was designed by Phil Collen of Def Leppard and this is the same design with a different hardware setup... Seymour Duncan pups, Wilkinson trem, and Schaller locking tuners. The neck is a satin finish with a quilt fretboard and as you can see no markers on the face, only on the side. A little wider neck than Fenders as are most Jacksons and a flatter 20" radius fretboard also typical with Jackson guitars. Jacksons are mostly known for metal type playing, and they are the same company as Charvel. The quilt on this thing is sickening, it's a 1/4" top laminated on solid mahogany. Check out www.jacksonguitars.com and look at the USA stuff. Their import stuff used to be superbly made by the Japanese, but a year or two ago they moved the import line to Indonesia or India and the prices have really fallen on the import line. Their lower end stuff is garbage just like the low end BC Rich stuff. |
