Maybe the pedal will keep you occupied until you get your new guitar.

What I love about it is that the songs I play or practice, which I can probably count on my ear, can sound 50 different ways, which makes them seem new, when they are really stale as, as, well, just stale...

Now I just havta' practice learning new songs....sigh.

Ew, I don't even want to think about reading music yet. It's hard enough, or should I say easy enough, to read Tab as it is...

Man I wish I played back when I was a teen. Who knows what level I could be at now....sigh...

You would be at home dreading sight reading, and praying the UPS man doesn't bust your strat. Well whattaya know? That's right where you are now, just where God wants you

Let me have you look at it this way Matt, when you are 40 you will have 8 years under your belt rather than my less than 3 years! You'll be sounding like your favorite 80's bands by then, Culture Club, Frankie Goes Hollywood, the Village People.... all your favorites.

Oh very funny Mr. Humorous...

I thought I made it clear that it was the 80's rock that I loved. I won't lie and say a Journey song or two didn't slip in, but techno wasn't and isn't my cup of tea. I will say, however, that even the junk from the 80's is better than most of what we have today. I can't wait until I can afford a Satellite Radio and play 80's tunes all day. Hog heaven I tell ya!

p.s. you ARE absolutely right about being where God wants me. If it was He that put this desire in me from nowhere, He could have done it a long time ago. Excellent point Pastor.
