hi folks, I am trying to get that classic nashville type country tone and need some help. My current setup is a Fender American Std. Telecaster and a Fender '65 Reissue Twin Reverb amp. It has a great sound, very clean, but just can't seem to get close to getting that nashville type country tone. any ideas on what to do?? any effects out there that can help, or any other ideas???
thanks, Dean |

Try using a compressor, that did the trick for me. It really helps to nail that tone down.

| Pluck string as close to bridge as possible using the bridge pickup, compressor and delay fx.pedals.Compressor should be first pedal in the chain. |

| Welcome Hounddog, where do you live in Washington? I used to dwell in a small town called Bothell. Also Mukilteo. |

Roll your tele tone knob back to about half, then on the twin use bright switch up, volume to whatever you can stand, treble on 6, Mid on 3, bass on 2, verb on 2 to 2 1/2, and get a compressor. That oughta put ya right in Nashville. |
