For the record (pun intended!), "Classical Gas" was written, recorded and released in 1968 by Mason Williams.

Taylor is by far the best sounding acoustic anywhere near it's price range. The only guitars I have heard that sound better are Mcphearsons but they start at 4,000 dollars. Me I do not have much money at once so unfortunately have not had the money to get my Taylor yet. I am saving toward one and cannot wait. I would like to have both a Taylor 310 and a taylor 312 . Unless Ed knocks on my door with that big cardboard check so I can get them in the 700 series and a mcpherson lol. Laughing

But a taylor is a great investement you will never be soory, they sound fantastic, they are built solid, They are made in USA so if repairs are ever needed you can count on Taylor to stand behind their product. Also they hold there value, though I could never imagine anyone wanting to sell their Taylor.
