Music wasn't part of me, can't seem to access the Christian Guitar Forum from Indonesia, suddenly the last few days. Do any of you guys perhaps know what the reason he can't is? He misses us and would like to participate but seems to be locked out of the site for some reason. Help, please! I will relay any information through email for him. Thanks and Bessings to all!
Blessed, new glasses, unscratched and all, Dan |

I've been discussing this with him over the email for the last few days now. Hopefully he got my most recent one with a few thoughts about it (sent yesterday my time). I made a few recommendations to try a different web browser, and clear out the private data on his current browser (cookies and the like). While I don't know the details of his internet connection, i also recommended checking if the site works as normal next month (as he may have reached some sort of data limit slowing things down). In another discussion we had, I learned that sometimes it's harder for outside indonesia computers to reach indonesian websites. So it's also possible the same problem is happening in reverse (which has suddenly happened for some reason, internet infrustracture is a real pain). I've got a story on this if anyone is interested.
Last I heard from Music in an email recently, he said the problem was that the page was loading very slowly to the point the site wasn't really useable. Though other websites were working ok. Is this still the problem or has it become something else? |

Thanks, PunkStar! I have a super-slow dialup connection and haven't been having any problems, but know he misses us and appreciate any help you can give him! Thanks!
Blessed, and PC unwary, Dan

Most horrble reason would be the blocking of the site from the gouvernament. It being a Moslim country, the might have blocked the site.
But I pray It is just the Internet provider with some trouble. |

Wow, Nate, I didn't even think of that. I'll pray that that is not the case. If it is, then the 2 CDs of mine I am sending him and his fiance might be intercepted, as well. I am expecting a letter from Jerry any day that explains how he became a Christian and what it's like to be one in that part of the world. Let's all pray that the Lord will provide a path back to us.
Blessed, with good friends like Jerry, Dan |

| I suppose it's possible, though I haven't heard anything about it. According to some research I've been reading, web censorship is definately on the rise in numerous countries. But I haven't seen anything on Indonesia. There is apparently something in the works to try and deal with credit card fraud, but nothing on anything else. |
