Used my Seagull M6 Spruce at an outdoor Festival Sunday; it did great. I had been worried about keeping it in tune; the temp was near 100 F. We got there early and I let the guitar set out on a stand for about 20 minutes before tuning it. Our Church was providing an hour of music at the festival, my wife and I opened the hour with “Try a little kindness”, we closed an hour later with “Go rest high on the mountain”. I left the guitar on stage in the shade for the whole time, when I picked it up for the last song, it was still in tune.
Good old M6, it’s hard to beat that guitar.
BTW: I played harmonica along with the guitar for the last song. People seemed to really like it, if your use to singing and playing at the same time it is not hard to pickup. I struggle with picking any kind of lead while playing rhythm this allowed me to play an instrumental for a verse of the song for the first time. |
