I have been taking guitar lessons from 3 different people since I started playing, my teachers just didnt work out in my opinion. I know my nut chords, I know my major and minor barre chords on the 6th and 5th strings. I know the C scale from open to the 12th position. I know the blues scale, as well as the chromatic scale and a movable major scale pattern. There is also a book I have that I must complete that makes me read music. Is there any sort of practice routine that one of you can help me devise? I have a metronome if that provides any help. I am just looking for a routine that I can practice with. I want to improve on the guitar and know my stuff, can anyone help me? The more specific the better. Thanks.

Do a google search on Steve Vai's 30 hour guitar workout. It was printed a long time ago in an issue of guitar world, but you may still be able to find some info on it.
