Hey everyone.
So, the church I lead worship at is pretty contemporary and we decided to add a second electric guitar to the service (two electrics and an acoustic, or sometimes i switch to acoutic making there two acoustics). The dynamic was a lot of fun. It did a pretty good job off creating the "wall-of-sound" effect.
I being the only guitarist in the church with an electric, we used the pastors guitar which is named, "God's guitar." There a really cool story behind it about when he was on the road and bought this guitar from a guy who told him that he used that guitar to worship Satan. They bought it and comitted it to worship. Today was the first time in a couple years that it's been played up front.
Anyways, The guitar is basically an Ibanez RG1570. This has a floating bridge (I'm not sure if that's the technical name for it or not), and tuning the thing has become such a pain, i'm not sure exactly what to do with that. I would love to use this guitar more for the worship service, so any thoughts on on techniques or ideas for tuning this thing would be great.
God Bless
