As a Pod II owner I run it straight into an active DI box. depending on how many channels we have left it is stereo. The link from the di into the poweramp in on my tube amp and then to my wedge type guitar monitors. I used to go inear but the rest of the band sterded complaining they could not hear me anymore.
Our church fits 700 people, concert setting 1500. (fire department regulations). Our band consists of a drum, bass, one or two guitar players and keys. 5 vocals make it complete.
The wedge type guitar monitor keeps the guitarsound on stage so the soundteam canget a good balance in the room. I am working on a plan to get in-ear for everyone on stage, including the pastor. Its cheaper and better for your ears. Most important is that it gives the soundteam unlimmited creative freedom! Just like mixing a CD! |
